"Pro Track is like an 'MBA on NSA'. I had heard this phrase before when I first began to attend meetings but it took my ProTrack experience to really learn what it meant.

When I first decided to pursue professional speaking, the regular meetings were great but I always left them feeling that I needed a little more. I wanted to go even deeper into the material. Session #2 — Managing the Business

Session #3 — Topic Development

• Kendall blew my mind! I not only have a better grasp on how to go about developing by topic, but Kendall made me explore my inner-values and focus myself on uniqueness. He clarified the goal of the topic – to change beliefs and behaviors. That helped me understand things so much more clearly! What a fabulous day!
• I liked how Kendall made us discuss things, pick things we should work on, ask and answer questions of ourselves and others. Helped me think and remember. Thanks!
• Pacing was excellent. Calm, clear, commanding presentation of the information. Covered all the information. Great interaction and involvement of participants. The content and impact were powerful. Session #4 — Platform Mechanics

• Unbelievable day! I learned so much that I didn’t realize I didn’t know about the platform! PowerPoint tips, microphone info, headset talk. Danielle’s information was critical to me because I was clueless as to image. I learned that there are several things I am doing wrong.
• Everything was great – tons of value – content. Danielle and Patrick are top notch. My only suggestion would be to give everyone 5 minutes to speak and coach one another and shorten everything else.

Session #5 — Presenting and Performing

• Steve and Lillian did a wonderful job shedding light on what a signature story is. I was unclear and they helped me pinpoint my ideas. I feel confident I can now develop a signature story that people will want to hear. Fantastic day!
• I enjoyed every minute and this includes the presenters and group members. This session enabled me to open up without preparation; the result for me was increased self-awareness.
• I loved the genuine and personal way this way presented. I loved the examples and group workshops to get personal feedback. Many people are so much better than any one of us working alone!

Session #6 — Presenting and Performing Application

• This should be the template for each of the ProTrack sessions. Very hands-on and participatory.
• I think in NSA we members do so much listening to other speakers and speaking about speaking that actually speaking in front of our peers was invaluable.
• I loved the courage of the participants to share signature stories. The time and expertise from the speaker panel for each speech was invaluable. This was a great learning experience to hear the feedback for each speaker and also to observe each participant’s speaking style.
• The judges’ feedback was extremely valuable. I loved each judge’s different perspective. It has helped me to better understand what I need to do specifically to craft my signature story and make it even better. The pacing was perfect, five minutes per presenter plus time for feedback. Hearing the feedback as a group was so helpful – to learn from others’ techniques as well.

Session #7 — Sales and Marketing

• Excellent and extremely valuable. Being good and marketing are the top 2 most valuable things in this profession. Performance and marketing have been the 2 best ProTrack sessions and the instructors were among the best!
• This was quite possibly the BEST session yet! Good practical advice and a real wake-up call to get me motivated to make it.
• Michael truly challenged me to exercise my brain. As promised, he made me uncomfortable and forced me to look into my heart. I found true pain and will focus on applying this to making me unique, different and valuable to my audiences. Outstanding session!
• This is the best ProTrack program yet! Immensely valuable.

Session #8 — Authorship and Product Development

• Jim is an amazing wealth of knowledge and I give Angie loads of credit for having the courage to talk about her mistakes. This is a direction we all need to go and it helps to learn from the experts.
• Got me thinking about what I need to do to produce a quality product. E-Learning s has been on my mind for a while – thanks for the kick in the brain. We seemed to drift as the day moved toward the close.
• Very valuable information from Jim and Angie. I sincerely appreciate the pros and cons about writing and publishing and the do’s and don’ts with products. I believe I know where I need to start now. I’m so sad ProTrack is over! I have learned so much in this program that has helped me grow in my business! I have loved it.
